Have you guys ever used www.pandora.com (?) It's pretty cool... Like, you can just type in the name of some band that you like, and it matches you up with a bunch of other bands/songs that have the same sound based on overall tone and stuff like that... and you can just listen to it all without having it download anything... I guess it's nice if you are bored of the same old stuff and wanna find some new stuff that has the kind of sound that you like...

So last night/this morning, my roomate and I watched Star Wars Episode III at the Irvine Spectrum on the IMAX screen! It was totally awesome! We took some pics of all the weirdo star wars people and stuff so here they are...

here was some guy next to us with his trusty lightsaber thingy, while wearing a Star Wars shirt! He must be hardcore! It looks like the guy next to him is trying to makea move on him or something haha

So yeah, it has been a while since I have updated... So today is cinco de mayo. Today was pretty cool. After my first class, there was a big mexican bash out in the front of the school. There were live mariachis and free food (always awesome), which was cool. And... school is going swell.... I guess there isn't a whole lot of interesting things going on besides that haha... So, this weekend, Paul and I went up to San Luis Obispo for another mountain biking race.... this one was really fun!!! We left for the SLO on Friday night.... and got there really late at night... it was more fun that way though.... everyone there camped out friday night for the big cross country race on saturday... it was a really fun race with some really fast downhill, and some long uphill... i got 17th out of like 40+ people.... and paul got 20th or something.... so we did alright i guess.... the rest of the day was spent watching people eat it on the awesome dual downhill slolem... it was really cool! 2 people would blast down the slolem at the same time... on one track!! so there were some pretty crazy spills as people fought for the lead... one gy from stanford went over a hill but flipped over and broke his collar bone and messed up his face... a helicopter had to come in and take him away.... we spent the night again, and on sunday, it rained.... which actually made it really fun to bike around in all the mud and stuff.... then we went on another race... i didnt like it very much.... i got 8th and paul got 7th... by the way... paul has more pics.... he got some cool pics of people crashing.... but for now....

so we came in at like 2:23 AM

so today, i got my ID card (finally... so i can eat in the commons and go to the ARC now) I talked to Joe a lot and we walked around.... then we went to some meetings and I met up with Jacquiline Jai... we went to the BBQ in the park where i signed up for.... LACROSS!!!! and the CYCLING CLUB..... AND FENCING!!!! woohoo!!!! Oh, yeah... while we were eating the BBQ stuff in the park, there was this crazy ass weird stalker lady who came up to Sarah (the one from the party) and she didnt say anything.... she just kinda walked up to where we were all eating and she just stared/gazed at sarah as she proceeded to light up a cigarette and smoke it like she was the coolest thing since sliced bread or something.... and she had a pocket knife in her other hand.... and after like 5 minutes of staring at Sarah, the crazy stalker lady was like, "What's your name?" (to Sarah) and sarah made a little conversation with her until some guy saved us all by distracting the psycho lady while we all made excuses to leave haha. wow, i was afraid for my life haha I just got back from the ARC.... i ran laps with some guy.... he likes Thrice and Thrusday and stuff... he was cool. Imma take a shower now... :-)

ok, so anyways... im in Thailand... its actually a ton of fun! It all looks like Costa Rica for the most part. For the past few days, we have been up in the northern part of Thailand... in the mountains and jungles and stuff... it was really cool! we got some guy name Joe to guide us and he took us to some neat- o caves and waterfalls and stuff... it was really cool! i took a bunch of pictures!! oh!! and i sent u guys some postcards and stuff... Over the next few days, we are going to go more south... to James Bond Island, Phang Nga Bay, Guilin, Phuket, and Phi Phi Island... they all seem like they will be pretty cool.... i hope they are!! Don't worry Brooke... our faces werent squashed by Elephants haha so anyways... i might be on AIM sometimes... the time zones are way different from the USA so like, when its 8 PM here... its like 6 AM in the USA... not the best time to be talking to people online ;-) well, anyways... ttyl.
